Lately, I just don't get tired of listening to these songs:

The flash and the pan - waiting for a train : I heard it for the first time in Rocknrolla, I didn't really like the movie that much, but the scene where they dance to this song is amazing and it's burned in my mind



Lismore - 1979 : I dowloaded this cover a long time ago from a blog, and didn't really listened to it, just went through it pretty fast and found it kind of boring, but I just rediscovered it and I really enjoy it every single day for the last week at least, pretty sweet!.)

La Roux - In for the kill: A good friend of mine introduced me to this pretty amazing and catchy electroclashy-pop hymn, which I'm almost sure it's already being played all around London, Montreal or Paris, but here in Mexico this will be huge in a year or so.

Radiohead - Ceremony

Buscando en Youtube, encontré partes del webcast que Radiohead subió a la red a finales de 2007, aprovechando su regreso con In Rainbows grabaron en vivo la totalidad de las canciones de su "nuevo álbum", y también uno que otro cover. Los consagrados músicos de Radiohead, decidieron tocar Ceremony de Joy Division, probablemente como un pequeño homenaje a Ian Curtis; ya que en esos meses salía en el cine la película Control del director Anton Corbjin que expone en largas tomas en blanco y negro la corta vida del -ahora grupo de culto- Joy Division y la de su vocalista, o quizás Radiohead solo quería enseñarle al mundo que todavía se divierten tocando algunas de las canciones con las que probablemente se inciaron en el mundo de la música, pues casi todos en Radiohead tenían entre 11 y 13 años en 1980 cuando en Inglaterra se da a conocer el suicidio de Ian Curtis, Johnny Greenwood de 9 años, pero seguramente su hermano -Colin Greenwood- y hoy compañero de banda ya lo había iniciado en la música y sabía de la existencia de esta genial banda de Manchester que estaba dejando a todos boquiabiertos.
